The Town of Flatrock has contracted a paving company to upgrade and pave some of our side roads within the town. This will be ongoing for another week. There will be flag persons in place during this process, please have patience with the contractor and the flag persons, they are working for the town to help improve our streets for the safety of our residents.

We ask our community to report any incidents of unsafe operation of ATV's. You can contact us at 729-8000 on the Northeast Avalon, 637-4100 in the Corner Brook region, 709-944-7602 in Labrador West, and 709-925-3524 in Churchill Falls.

We will not tolerate aggressive ATV activity in our communities.

Did you know you must be 16 years old to operate an ATV
over 90cc. And, remember:
- Always wear a helmet
- Never drive along public roads and highways
- Never drink and drive an ATV
- Only carry passengers on ATVs designed for a
second person
- Respect the environment

Let's continue to work together to keep our communities safe and healthy!

Just a reminder that our green spaces and properties are not areas for ATV usage!
Last week we had a contractor clean up the banks and property around our new chalet and soccer fields, which we plan to grass - they worked for two days.
It took ATV's - Dirt bikes, quads, and a side by side - maybe ten minutes to tear up the area, and we would appreciate it if you would refrain from using these areas as your playground.

We are working hard to keep our parks clean and beautiful!
If you see vandalism happening in our beautiful Community, please let us know.
