Tomorrow - April 15th - our Community, along the Everson family, will say farewell to the wonderful Trudy Everson. Anyone that knew Trude loved her laugh, sense of humor and friendliness. Trude loved to stop and have a chat and a laugh, but also the quietness of a good trouting hole.As a sign of respect for the Everson Family, and Trudy, we are asking residents to please take the time to stop and step out of your vehicle or step out of your home on your doorstep to pay your respects – all while physically distancing. The procession will drive down Windgap around 10:30am, and across Flatrock Beach to St. Michael’s Church for the Funeral at 11:00 am. The Town of Flatrock send our respects and prayers to the Family. Rest in Peace Trude – you will be missed ❤ ... See MoreSee Less

Town of Flatrock
Today we say farewell to the oldest resident of our beautiful Community, Mr. Mike Houlihan. A true pillar in the Community, Mr. Houlihan was always present at St. Patrick's Day Concerts to sing his signature "Paddy McGinty's Goat", our Annual Soiree near his home on the beach to dance the Lancers, and a tune and dance at the old School. As a sign of respect for the Houlihan Family, and Mr. Houlihan we are asking residents to take the time this morning to stop your vehicle or step out to the road side, all while physically distancing, and pay your respects. The procession will drive down Windgap around 10:30 am, and across the beach to St. Michael's Church for the funeral at 11:00 am this morning. The Town of Flatrock send our prayers and respect to the family. Rest in Peace Mr. Houlihan. ... See MoreSee Less
