The Town of Flatrock has lost a true pillar of the Community. Kevin Parsons was our Councillor, our former MHA, Mayor, Deputy Mayor, and Friend. Kevin began serving as Mayor of Flatrock in 2005, and was elected MHA of the beautiful District of Cape St. Francis in 2008 where he served until he retired in 2021.He was a 24/7 devoted volunteer, and has served on numerous committees in our Community over the years - Flatrock Harbour Authority, our Community Center Committee, Come Home Year 2016 - just to name a few. Kevin was a member of the beloved Flatrock Flyers - a legacy that still endures. A true gentleman, leader, respected to the highest degree, always supporting our Community and surrounding Communities.
