ECT Annual Fundraising Hike

This year the ECT Annual Fundraising Hike will be hosted by our community, we are excited about this event and welcome The East Coast Trail Association into our community. Please consider getting involved by participating in a one of the schedule hikes or register a team for great day of hiking and fundraising. Volunteers are needed to support this amazing event. Both links are below.
There are 4 different hikes to choose from for all levels of fitness. All participants (hikers must be registered)
1. Short family hike: Redhead Cove to Flatrock: distance – 3.8km; 1.5-2 hours. Rated easy. Continuous coastal scenery over open heath and through forested landscapes. Hike begins at Redhead Cove.
2. Medium distance, easy: Stiles Cove Path – distance – 7.5km; 2-3 hours. Rated easy. Hike from Lions Club on Satellite Road to Flatrock Community Centre. Enjoy coastal scenery along forested and open heath covered terrain.
3. Medium distance, moderate: Father Troy’s Trail – distance – 9.7km; 2.5-3.5 hours. Rated moderate. Hike from Father Troys Trailhead in Torbay and finish at the Flatrock Community Centre. Enjoy a hike with coastal scenery, agriculture and forested terrain.
4. Long distance, moderate: Father Troy’s Trail & Stiles Cove Path – distance – 17.1 km; 7-9 hours (including lunch break at Flatrock at 12 noon). Rated moderate. Route includes all of Father Troy’s Trail plus 5.5 section of Stiles Cove Path. Hike begins at Spray Lane, the trailhead in Torbay and finishes
